Welcome to my 2nd grade web page!  Our theme at West this year is "It Takes a Team to Help Children Dream."  We are so excited that Valley Center's dream of a brand new high school is now a reality this year.  With the addition of this new facility, many changes have been made all over our school district.   This includes the addition of the Intermediate School and the reconfiguration of classes to make three K-4 elementary buildings.  West's second grade classrooms are now in D-Hall.  In D-2, my second graders will be using their new school tools as they learn new concepts and achieve new goals.  I'm excited to know that they will grow as they become better readers, advance their Math skills, explore fun Science and Social Studies activities, and practice voicing their thoughts on paper.  I'm sure this will be a year to remember.
